Sometimes know as ‘Fundamentals’, these introduction classes are the key to getting started in CrossFit and they are a staple at pretty much any CrossFit gym across the world. No matter what you might have learned along the way in the gym, through personal training sessions, or in group exercise classes, CrossFit contains more Olympic lifting, power lifting and gymnastic moves than any other exercise program. Because of this it is vitally important that you are taught correct and safe technique for the core CrossFit moves.

Our 2 On-Ramp sessions are designed to teach you these moves and give you a taste of what it’s like to use those movements within a CrossFit WOD (workout of the day). With each session lasting an hour your coach will take you through the different mechanics of core movements, including ‘squat’ moves, ‘pull’ moves and ‘push’ moves. These classes build on one another to give you the basics in the key CrossFit movements and must be completed before you can join in with one of the daily CrossFit classes. Their normal time is 10am, but we can also do them at other times by request (depending on availability).
