KTC, as Brad’s last day of coaching is tomorrow, we are very excited to introduce Zack Opheim, who will be joining Koh Tao CrossFit as the new head coach! Zack is a certified CrossFit trainer who first became involved with CrossFit as an adjunct to his physical training in the United States Army. For the past two years, he has served as the strength and conditioning coach at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. Zack’s first day of coaching at KTC will be August 9th, so unfortunately there will be a bit of a lag time between coaches. To help with this, we have several solutions: 1) The gym will be open every day from 9:00AM-11:00AM, and then from 1:00PM to 7:30PM for open gym. 2) Brad has programmed out a week’s worth of workouts so that people can come into the gym and still get their workouts in. These will be posted on the board in the gym. Note that while these won’t be as technical as the regular classes, they will still be great workouts. 3) Brad is going to do his best to notify people when he will be in the gym. These can function much like “Friday Club” workouts, where we all just get in to work out together. 4) Mobilize and work on skills! This will be a great week to nail double unders, handstand holds, first pull-ups, etc! 5) For regulars, we will be extending your membership by a week so that it is ensured you get the same value for your monthly membership.
